This 25mm commercial-grade kit forms a watertight seal between the commercial shutter or garage door and the floor. This threshold will also prevent leaves, dust, and debris from being blown under shutter/garage doors, thus ensuring a clean and dry environment. Additionally, this product is crafted from highly durable aluminium extrusion, capable of withstanding heavy traffic.

The kit is made up of seamless, interlocking sections of aluminium (in lengths of 1.55m, 2.0m, and 2.50m), which join together with a flat bar insert to maintain rigidity. The thermoplastic bottom insert seals are supplied in a continuous length to give a complete seal along the full length of the threshold.

The gentle ramp profile will allow it to be easily driven over with forklift trucks or to pull pallet trucks over the top of the threshold. Its heavy-duty construction means its ideal use is in commercial premises with heavy vehicles such as light aircraft or articulated lorries.

The bottom seal inserts and top fixing cover insert are both supplied in a continuous length, creating a seamless seal. When inserting the fixing screws, these seals then compress, providing a watertight seal.

Preparation:

For best results, the surface should be flat and smooth, devoid of bumps or troughs, with remedial action required to rectify uneven surfaces before fitting the Threshold Seal.
